two juveniles arrested in connection with Los Altos burglaries Two male juveniles and a man have been arrested in connection with unrelated burglaries in February and May, according to Los Altos police. On Feb. 17, officers responded to the 100 block of Pine Lane after receiving a report of an attempted vehicle theft. The officers spotted a suspect, who then jumped some fences and fled. Later that day, a residential burglary and auto theft were reported on the 200 block of Triannon Way. According Torrey Smith m women jersey to police, detectives found evidence linking those crimes to Julian Baldes Alvarado, 26, of San Jose. Detectives also connected Alvarado to the Pine Lane incident. Alvarado was arrested and is custody. On May 27, a residential burglary and auto theft were reported on the 900 block of Highlands Circle. According to police, the stolen vehicle was located in San Jose being driven by a 16 year old. The driver was taken into custody. Officers determined he and another juvenile participated in the burglary on Highlands Circle. Both suspects were booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall. Anyone with information about those incidents is asked to call the Los Altos Police Department Investigations Unit at 650 947 2770. The police department advises residents to secure their homes by installing burglar alarms, locking perimeter gates and access points, installing exterior motion lights, and using video surveillance systems.
