New Irish Indoor Rowing Record Holder

Congratulations to Kenny Mac Donald from Shannon Rowing Club ,who broke the 2 year record set by Philip Healy (6:21.8) today with a record breaking 6:20.7 to set a new irish indoor 2k rowing record.Pictured with the hammers they earned as World Champions in Boston earlier this year.

Both Ken and Jonathan Doyle are the current and former world champions in this category and both put in fantastic efforts at 1pm today, to pull personal best times and break Philip Healy’s 2 year old Irish record of 6:21.7s. 

Jonathan took his own PB down by 2.7 seconds from his recent 2nd place at the CRASH-B World Indoor Rowing Championshipsto 6:24.0 secs.
